The Third Elk Grove High School Framing
Workshop was the best yet, thanks to the organizational skills of Chairperson
Dee Tschida and assistance from dozens of EGA members! About 130 high
school students came at scheduled intervals to the United Christ Church on
March 8th and 9th and about 40 more students on May 2, 2008, to the Pavilion
in Elk Grove Park. Students learned how to measure the mat board for
their image/painting, to precisely cut the mats, to clean the glass and insert
it into a frame, and to secure the picture with points and wire. Click
