On August 24, 2005, Kanika Marshall, Sharon Zachary, and Sharon Scott conducted a hands-on workshop using clay.  About 45 creative adults rolled, cut, and hand-sculpted several clay projects.  A fabulous treat was having Franklin High School's art instructor, Derek, show us how to use the potter's wheel.  He also teaches clay lessons at Sharon Scott's "I Made It!" clay store in the Elk Park Village Shopping Center. Participants used items from the house and garden to make textured jewelry, wall hangings, and three-dimensional sculptures.  Click on each picture below to view a larger image.
